D Talent Hub is seeking a highly experienced Physiotherapist for a casual role in an aged care facility, covering annual leave for 7 weeks starting April 28, 2025. The right candidate may start earlier if available. Position Details: 📅 Duration: 7 weeks (Potential early start) 🕘 Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM 💰 Competitive casual hourly rate Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ physical health, mobility, and pain levels. Develop individualized treatment plans focused on rehabilitation, mobility improvement, and pain management. Implement exercise therapy programs to enhance residents’ strength, balance, and coordination. Provide manual therapy, including massage and joint mobilization, where clinically appropriate. Work collaboratively with nursing, care, and allied health teams to ensure holistic care for residents. Assist in fall prevention programs by evaluating risks and recommending interventions. Train and support staff on safe manual handling techniques and resident mobility strategies. Educate residents and their families on managing chronic pain, improving mobility, and preventing injuries. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with aged care standards. Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on resident progress and clinical needs. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the aged care facility. Mandatory Requirements: ✔ Minimum 4 years of physiotherapy experience ✔ Aged care experience (Essential) ✔ AHPRA registration (Unrestricted) ✔ Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team ✔ Strong understanding of aged care standards and compliance requirements Desirable Criteria: ✔ Arabic-speaking skills (Highly preferred) ✔ Experience in dementia care and neurological rehabilitation If you meet the criteria and are available, apply now!
