About the role D TALENT HUB PTY LTD is seeking a passionate and dedicated Recreational Activity Officer (Arabic-Speaking) to join our team in Bankstown, NSW. This is a casual role that will involve providing engaging and meaningful recreational activities for our aged and disability clients. As a Recreational Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and social connections for our clients. What you'll be doing Develop and facilitate a range of recreational activities, including group exercises, arts and crafts, music, and outings Assist clients with participating in activities and provide any necessary support Collaborate with the care team to understand and cater to the individual needs and preferences of clients Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all clients Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client participation and program delivery Provide Arabic language support and interpretation services as needed What we're looking for Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged care or disability services sector Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds Proficiency in the Arabic language, both spoken and written Creative and resourceful approach to program planning and delivery Excellent organisational and time management skills Commitment to promoting the independence, dignity, and wellbeing of our clients Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent Current First Aid and CPR certifications What we offer At D TALENT HUB PTY LTD, we are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
